Why is lying the new norm?

WHY IS LYING THE NEW NORM?

What is a lie?

A lie is an intentional false information given to intentionally deceive.
When Pinocchio lies, his nose grows(as shown in the image below).

If you are found to have lied in court, you could face a penalty.
While a principle-based approach might claim that lying is morally wrong, the casuist would argue that depending upon the case , lying might or might not be illegal or unethical.
The casuist might conclude that a person is wrong to lie in legal testimony under oath, but might argue that lying actually is the best moral choice if the lie saves a life
ONE MIGHT CONCLUDE THAT A LIE IS SOMETHING THAT MISLEADS/DISAPpOINT, THE THERE IS LYING BY OMISSION

Back to the main point of this article

People claim they lie to protect themselves from being vulnerable, that’s why some people have become experts at lying.

How can you tell when someone is lying?

·         Facial expression
·         Tone of voice
·         Body language

Bible point of view about lying

Lying is a sin for sure, we all are aware of this.

Question now is why do we keep lying even though we know it’s wrong?
